About Us

We are devoted to the responsible breeding of the Shetland Sheepdog (commonly known as the “Sheltie”), always placing their well-being and the quality of each individual at the forefront. Our dogs are an integral part of our family, and with that same philosophy, we strive to ensure that every puppy finds a home where it will be loved, cared for, and valued as a true member of the family.

Welcome to Maravryan, a project born of love, dedication, and respect for an exceptional breed: the Shetland Sheepdog.

HEALTH: All our dogs undergo comprehensive genetic and radiographic testing and receive regular veterinary check-ups to ensure their overall health and well-being.

TEMPERAMENT: We carefully select balanced, affectionate dogs who can easily adapt to family life.

BEAUTY AND FUNCTIONALITY: We honor the official breed standard while never forgetting that a Sheltie is, above all, an active, intelligent, and highly versatile companion.

At Maravryan, we breed Shetland Sheepdogs with heart and passion. Each litter is the result of careful planning and a deep love for this wonderful breed, always striving to provide the very best for each of our Shelties.

The puppy

At Maravryan, we do not let our puppies leave until they are nine to ten weeks old. To allow them to spend as much time as possible with their mother, we often extend their stay by an additional week or two, ensuring the puppy’s well-being and easing the transition of separation. In cases where a puppy is traveling abroad, we keep them with us until they are four months old.

We deliver our little ones with their health record or passport, including all age-appropriate vaccinations, copies of the relevant genetic tests of their parents—or of the puppies themselves—their LOE or Pedigree, and a puppy kit filled with many delightful surprises. In addition, prior to collection, we provide full guidance to ensure everything is ready for the puppy’s arrival.

We do not have puppies available all year round. Our breeding is occasional and always guided by the well-being of our mothers.
